Sheila Superstein (Née Wise)

Peacefully, in her eighty third year on Saturday, May 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Howard Superstein for fifty-six years. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Rosanne Superstein and Perry Kliot, and Andrew Superstein. Loving “Grammie” of Talia, Jenna and Quinn. Daughter of the late Rose and the late Arthur Wise, and daughter-in-law of the late Tillie and the late Joseph Superstein; dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Rita and the late Philip Scott, the late Vera and the late Sidney Leibovitch; and brother-in-law of Norman Superstein. Sheila will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and large network of dancing and lifelong friends.

We are grateful to the Oncology and GI services at the Jewish General Hospital and the Oncology and Hepatobiliary service at the CHUM. Very special thanks to Dr. April Shamy who was her champion since her first cancer diagnosis in 2013 and Dr. André Roy for his talented surgical skills and true compassion.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, May 25 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Community Foundation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
