Shelby Goodman

After a courageous battle, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shelby on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Devoted daughter of the late Bella and the late Larry Goodman. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Carol and the late Joe Mendelssohn, Joel and Susan Goodman, Marven and Birdie Goodman.

Beloved aunt of Stephen Covet and Sheila Berman, Jodie Covet and Howard Melnik, Adam Goodman and Jennifer Gold, Michael and Deborah Goodman, Robyn Goodman, Jason Goodman and Robyn Pollack, and Joey Goodman.

Lifelong friend of Neile and Joe Schlein, and Marlene Lewis.  Shelby will be sadly missed by her great nieces and great nephews, family and friends. She will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all those whose lives she touched.

Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Sunday, June 7, at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Kehal Yeshurin Section, de la Savane.  Shiva will be observed at her sister’s residence on Sunday, following burial until 4:00 p.m., and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 to 4;00 p.m., and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Donations in Shelby’s memory may be made to St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation, specifically for Cancer Care, at (514) 734-2694, or  click here.
