It is with great sadness that the family of Shirley Sibalis (née Krasovitsky) announces her passing in Ottawa on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the remarkable age of 100.
Beloved wife of the late Jack Sibalis. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Rosalie and Jack Taylor, Lisa Sibalis and Tim Aubry, the late Michael Sibalis and the late Stephen Sibalis.
Devoted grandmother of Matthew Taylor (Stephanie), Joshua Taylor (Chelsea), and Rachel Aubry. Proud great-grandmother of Jacob, Aiden, Hunter, and Scarlett.
Dear sister and sister-in-law of Murray and Francie Krane, the late Evelyn and the late Israel Israelovitch, the late Lou and the late Helen Krane, the late Norman Krane; and sister-in-law of the late Sylvia and the late Sam Markel, the late Selma and the late Marvin Lutsky.
Shirley lived a long and meaningful life centered on family, resilience, and devotion to those she loved. Her warmth, strength, and generous spirit. will be remembered by all those whose lives she touched
