Mia Swartzman - 26 days ago

Dear Ellen and Neil, On behalf of the whole Swartzman family we want to offer our deepest condolences on the passing of Susi. We have many cherished memories of our iconic summers in Rosemere with get-togethers of all the families. I remember your mom and dad's warmth when we would come by to hang out together. When Susi moved to Montreal, she joined a wonderful and welcoming group of friends. May your sweet memories of her sustain you through this time of grief and in the many years ahead. Warmly, Mia Swartzman and family.

We were so saddened to hear of Susi's passing. She was a close and special friend of ours beginning many years ago in Rosemere and followed by the happy sharing of a duplex in Montreal. We were like family, remained good friends over the years with mutual visits here and in Florida where we enjoyed our fun times with Susi and Bud. We extend our condolences to you, Bud, Ellen and Neil and family.

Our most profound sympathies to the Gardner family, Both Susi and Bernard were early and dear friends of ours who shared an interest in classical music, exiting conversations and the many "good times. May our collective memories help minimize their passing.

Dear Bud, Ellen and Neil and families, My deepest condolences on Susi's passing. Susi and I met many years ago when we both worked at the Jewish General Hospital. We actually met at the photocopy machine . We clicked and became friends. Years later when Susi moved to Florida to begin a new chapter with Bud, she kept close to her Montreal friends. She called regularly. My lasting image is of Susi sitting on a bench by the river in Stuart - a warm and sunny scene - interested in the latest news. Among so many memories of Susi I will return to this image of Susi relaxed. calm , in a beautiful setting, talking to friends. May she rest in peace. Eunice

Dear Ellen, Neil and Family, I was shocked to read tonight of your dear mother's passing. I have known her for about 70 years although after your Dad's lamented early passing we somehow drifted apart, seing each other only occasionally, like the time with Bud in Stowe. But I well remember when your Dad (my fraternity brother and one of my favourte people) told me in McGill about the plan for Rosemere, to build homes for 5 families together which I thought was a pipe dream. But then it happened and we visited your parents repeatedly in Rosemere and doubke-dated as well. I always liked your Mom and I send you my sincere condolences at this sad time. Arthur.
