Peacefully, in Ottawa, on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Abraham Jeffrey Levine for 63 years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Herbie and Robin Levine, Fern and Lawry Trevor-Deutsch. Proud and loving Grandmom of Justin (Amanda) and Ryan (Amanda); Jenna, Jonah, and Mischa (Gillian). Daughter of the late Jack and the late Rose Goldman (née Anmuth). Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Harriet and Howard Malmud of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dear sister-in-law of Betty and the late Herky Levine, the late Mike and the late Sylvia Levine, the late Nat and the late Anne Levine, the late Reva and the late Manny Mendelsohn, the late Ethel and the late Sam Brumer, the late Lillian and the late Sol Aronoff, the late Florence and the late Maury Salis. Adored by her many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Philadelphia, Montreal, and NewYork. Anita will be remembered for her generosity, warm smile, and the love and care she showed to all who knew her. And she made the best munn cookies and potato salad in the world. Heartfelt thanks to Rita, Freni, Edwin, and the faithful staff at Amica The Glebe, as well as Sandra, Edgar, and Esterina.

Herbie will sit shiva privately at his home in Toronto on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Harriet will sit shiva privately at her home in Philadelphia from Sunday to Tuesday.
