Carol Seltzer (née Stein)

Peacefully, in her ninety-third year, on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Nelson Seltzer for almost seventy-two years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Jo-Ann and Stan Gomberg, Harold and Sandra Seltzer. Cherished grandmother of Max and Larrel, Isaiah, and Matthew. Proud great-grandmother of Trey, Abigail, and Kennedy Grace. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Shirley and the late Herby Croll; and sister-in-law of Phyllis and the late Norman Seltzer, the late Joyce and the late Sonny Breger, the late Harriet Seltzer. Daughter of the late Harry and the late Tillie Stein. Carol will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family, and many life-long friends. Special thanks to Aisha Mohammad for her years of loving care and devotion to both Carol and Nelson, and to the wonderful staff at Donald Berman Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their care, compassion and kindness. Carol was a past president of the Tel Chai chapter of Hadassah, past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of Mount Sinai Hospital, and a Life Master bridge player.
