Barry Vengroff

It is with great sadness that we announce Barry’s sudden passing on Thursday, August 28, 2025, in his 72nd year.  Son of the late Reggie “Ruth” and the late Arnold Vengroff; and son-in-law of the late Madeleine and the late Louis Fischbach. Beloved husband and soulmate of Chantal Fischbach for 46 years. Dear brother of the late Judy Levine; and special brother-in-law of Ted Levine. Wonderful uncle to his nephews and nieces Shawn and Carol Levine, Ryan and Gaby Levine; and his great-nephew Jacob Levine. He will be deeply missed by his extended family, and by his friends in Montreal and in Florida. Special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of the cardiology department at the Jewish General Hospital for the exceptional care given to both Barry and his family.

Graveside funeral on Sunday, August 31st at 12:00 p.m. at the Beit Abraham Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva following the burial until 9:00 p.m. at Ruby Foo's Hotel.
