It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cheryl Malkin on Saturday, June 28, 2025, in St. Albans, Vermont, surrounded by her loving family.

Daughter of the late Adele and Lionel Malkin. Cheryl is survived by her devoted husband of 28 years, Leon Boudreau; her loving sisters and brothers-in-law, Marilynne (Miki Lane) and Helen (Mario Sinai); her nieces and nephew, Emma, Michael and Aubrey Sinai; and her stepson, Jared Boudreau.

She will be deeply missed by the Malkin and Boudreau families, as well as the many people whose lives she touched.

She will be remembered always for the love, inspiration, and hope she so generously gave.

Cheryl was passionate about many things: learning, reading, movies, cooking, and dogs. But above all, she was passionate about people. Her love crossed generations, and those who knew her were moved by her warmth, her empathy, and her rare ability to make others feel truly seen and cared for.

The life Cheryl created was one of purpose, kindness, and ever-welcoming energy. She was a fierce and tireless advocate for women facing life’s challenges. She had a gift for guiding others through difficult times, connecting them with resources, offering a listening ear, and always showing up with compassion.

Donations in Cheryl’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (416) 961-7223 or to a charity of your choice.
