Holocaust Survivor
Peacefully, in her ninety-third year on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Tadeusz (Teddy) Prorok, and the late Peter Reich. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Liz Prorok and Mark Fleisler, Eddy Prorok and Debbie Dolman. Proud and cherished Grandma of Matt, and Emily Fleisler; Lauren Prorok and Mattan Biton, Michelle Prorok and David Assayag. Great-grandmother of Ben, and Romi Biton. Sister and sister-in-law of the late Sonia and the late Jacob Stopnicki. Through every hardship she faced, she met each challenge with unwavering strength, a hopeful heart, and a positive outlook. Eva will be fondly remembered by her extended family, friends, and by all those whose lives she touched. Special thanks to the staff at the Jewish Eldercare Centre and the Jewish General Hospital, (K6) for their exceptional care and compassion.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, June 18. Burial at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Pointe-Claire.
