Fred Wener

Peacefully, with dignity, at the ICU of the Jewish General hospital on Sunday, on March 22, 2026, at the age of 96. Cherished husband of Sondra. Beloved father to Robert, Dan and Linda and the late Mark. Devoted Brother to the late Louis and late Isabelle Wener, the late Solly and late Molly Wener, the late Lilly and late Sam Shiff, the late Rose and late Lou Mindel. Proud uncle to many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, and many dear friends including the lunch bunch.  Fred’s greatest gift was to leave all who knew him, smiling, laughing and loved. The family is deeply grateful to entire staff in the ICU of the Jewish General hospital for their loving care and compassion. 

Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Tuesday March 24 at 10:00 am. Burial at Temple Rodeph Shalom Sectiont, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
