Gerald (Gerry) Kirstenberg

Peacefully, on Saturday June 7, 2025 in his 90th year. Devoted son of the late Ida and the late Nathan Kirstenberg. Beloved husband of Sheila (Stober) for 63 years. Loving father of Marlene and Michael, and father-in-law of the late Ari Levy. Proud Zaidie of Adina, Matthew and Jordan. Dear brother-in-law of Marcy Binsky (Len Phillips) and the late Avrum and the late Shirley Stober. Special uncle of Leah and Steve (Kyla, Logan and Ava), and Miranda and Dan (Cole, Ben, Hannah and Charlotte). He will be missed and fondly remembered by his cousins Howard and Judy Bronfman, and many friends, including special friends Doreen and Neil Kipnis. Thank you to the staff on K2 and K6 of the Jewish General Hospital for their care and compassion.

Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon Street West on Tuesday June 10, 2025 at 12 noon. Burial at the Shaare Zedek Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at his home following burial until 5:00 p.m., continuing from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Friday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.; Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation (514-340-8251) or the charity of your choice.
