Dr. Jacob "Jack" Rosensweig

Peacefully and comfortably, surrounded by his loving family, Dr. Jacob "Jack" Rosensweig passed at his home in Delray Beach, Florida, on May 28, 2025, in his ninety-fifth year. Beloved and devoted husband of the late Mindy Rosensweig. Much loved father and father-in-law of Beth (Jeff) Steinberg, Franceen (Leo) Kahng, and Judy (Michael) Kapiloff. Proud grandfather of Marissa (Max) Weiss, Jay (Chloe) Steinberg, Rebecca and Hannah Kapiloff. Treasured great-grandfather of Eli and Naomi Weiss, and Beau, Georgia, and Wynn Steinberg. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Annie (late Harold) Estis, the late Alice (late Harold) Popkin, and the late Frances (late Abe) Rockman, and Elaine (late Fred) Madoff. Cherished son of the late Libbie and the late Sam Rosensweig. Adored Uncle of Dennis, Joan, and the late Ronald Estis, David, Cheryl, and Gerald Rockman, Cathy, Noreen, and Darren Popkin, and Rhonda and Ellen Madoff.  He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his many great- nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends in Canada and the United States. 

The family is grateful for the compassion, devotion, and love shown by his wonderful long-time caregivers, Edna Xavier, Ester Wacasey, and Michelle Rimboeck. 

Graveside funeral service to take place on Monday, June 9 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chevra Shaas Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva strictly private.
