May 2, 1931 – August 10, 2025
Peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2025 surrounded by her loving family, in her ninety-fifth year. Beloved wife of the late George. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Heidi (Stacey) Bindman, Nancy (Helene) Zylberszac. Adoring grandmother of Max Zylberszac. Devoted daughter of the late Willie and the late Edythe Greenberg. Sister of the late Seymour. She will be remembered fondly by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, especially by her lifelong friend Goldie Shuster.
She was known for her strong will, her wit, and impeccable sense of style, and above all her resilience and determination. Lorna will be profoundly missed by her amazing caregivers Cheryl, Maria, Cassie, Chandra, and Noemi, each who shared a very loving relationship with her. Special thanks to the wonderful staff of Residence Westmount One for their exceptional care during her thirteen years there. A very grateful thank you to the caring 8th floor and Palliative Care doctors, nurses, and staff at the St-Mary’s Hospital.
