Peacefully, after a long and courageous battle, on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Beloved husband of Myra Sverdlove for fifty-five years. Father of Jeff Broodney. Loving and cherished “ZZ” of Zack, and Taylor. Brother of Avra Drapkin Berg; and dear brother-in-law of Allan and Bonnie Sverdlove. Proud uncle of Jacob and Alexa, Andy and Adam Drapkin. Norm will be sadly missed by family, friends and by all who knew him. Heartfelt thanks to Lisa for being a pillar of strength for us through the years. Special thanks to Dr. Shamy, Riciel, and all the doctors, nurses and staff of the Oncology Department at the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Graveside service on Friday, June 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the Beit Abraham Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at his home.
