Paul Yaphe

Peacefully on April 26th, 2026, in his eighty-sixth year. Paul left the world in the same way he lived it; with strength, unwavering optimism, compassion, and humour. Loving father of Ali (Matthew), Katherine (Howard), Margot (Craig) and Justin Wade (Yasmin). Proud Grandpa of Nate, Sophie, Molly, Charlie, Alice, Annie, Vinny, and Sunny. Beloved son of the late Eli and the late Pat Yaphe. Dear brother of Andrea Fieldman. His love, Gayle Rubin, her children, Annie and Jonathan Werbitt. Remembered fondly by Alta and Harvey Levenson, and the late Bonnie Bernier. He left a lasting impression on countless lives, young and old alike, touching far more people than could ever be named, each carrying forward a piece of his kindness, spirit, and impact. He will be missed on and off the squash court, in the town of Stowe and within the design community. Special thanks to Shawn and Zibu, his exceptional caregivers, for their unwavering care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, April 29th at 2:00 p.m. A private burial will be held.
