Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 19, 2026. Beloved husband of Chantal Attar. Loving father of Keren (Brian) and Gali (Brad); proud Papa of his granddaughter Kaylie; devoted stepfather to Jessica and Stephanie and their families. United in love for their daughters, he is also survived by Sara Katz. Predeceased by his parents, Carol (Chaim) and Suzanne (Zelda).
Phillip will be fondly remembered by his cousin Dida (Jacob) and his many relatives and friends in Canada and in Israel. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Golda and the staff at Mt. Sinai Hospital, and to the compassionate team at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence, who cared for him with such kindness in his final days.
Graveside service at the Baron de Hirsch Community Foundation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, 33 Elm Ave, Beaconsfield, on Sunday, March 22nd at 1:00 p.m. Family and close friends are invited to gather at his daughter (Keren’s) home following the service to share memories and celebrate his life.
