Polly Morris (née Solomon)

It is with great sadness that we, her children, announce the passing of our mother Polly Morris.  She was born in Bucharest, Romania on May 29th, 1942, and was the daughter of the late Avram and the late Sheindel Solomon.  The family came to Canada in 1948.

Married at the age of 18 to the late Sidney Morris, she was his loving wife for 60 years until his death in 2020. She was a devoted mother and mother-in-law to her daughter Ada Morris and her husband Dr. Phil Kosoy, and to her son Earl Morris and his late wife Marla Schwartz. She became a proud Bubby of Warren Kosoy, Abbey Morris, and Erin Morris.  Always a Caring sister to Jeny and her husband the late Saul Vaidenfeld, Ben Solomon and his wife Jane, Rachel and her husband Don Marcovitch, and was sister-in-law to Leslie and Linda Morris.  She will be remembered for always having a welcoming and open door to family and friends and will be missed by all.

Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
