Rona Ship

Peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, in her 84th year.  Daughter of the late Doris Feldhammer and the late Alex Ship.  Cherished mother of Randi Moscovitch, and the late Dr. Alan Ship. Beloved grandma of Kennedy Benko.  Adored sister and sister-in-law of Karen and Ralph Frank, and the late Norman and Helen Ship.  Aunt of Christopher and Jeremy Ship.  She will be deeply missed by Thomas Benko, and by her family and friends.  The family would like to thank her caregivers Tamara and Lynn and the staff of 4 South at the Donald Berman Maimonides for their care and compassion.

Funeral service at Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.  Burial at the Ship Family Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva following burial until 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday and Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.  

An inspiration to her entire family.  She led with strength and humility.
