Abraham (Al) Malamud

Peacefully at home, surrounded by his family in his one hundredth year on Friday, October 3rd, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy. Loving father and father-in-law of Murray and Margie, Barbara and Vladimir Panich. Cherished Gramps of Evan, Jamie and Jen, Lyle and Jessica, Matthew and Gregory, Michael and Marina, and the late Jason. Proud great-grandfather of seven. Devoted companion of Linda Smyth. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses Mac and Ann, Esther and John, Pearl and Mac. Al will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and all who knew and loved him.

Graveside service on Monday, October 6th at 10:00 a.m. at the Knights of Pythias Section, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Duvernay. Due to the festival of Succoth, Shiva will end Monday at 4:00 p.m., held at his home.
