Peacefully, in his ninety-fifth year. Beloved husband of the late Emmie (Judd). Devoted father and father-in-law of Debbie and Richard Griffin, Rhonda Sculnik, and the late Norman Sculnik. Cherished Zaidie of Matthew and Vanessa, Kelly-Anne, Shannon, Patrick, Chelsey-Anne, and Brittany-Lyne. Proud great-grandfather of Chase and Brett. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Leo and Rose Sculnik, Evelyn and the late Harold Zaritsky, the late Jack and the late Bertha Sculnik, the late Edith and the late Ralph Tarmy, the late Sylvia and the late Syd Shapiro. A longtime member of the Masonic Order and a Shriner, Joe will be missed by his family, friends, and all those who knew him; including Blacky and Billy.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, October 6 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Congregation Beit Abraham Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at 98 av. Sedgefield (Pointe-Claire) Monday following burial until 4:00 p.m. Due to the festival of Sukkot, Shiva ends Monday, however the family will be receiving visitors Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Donations in Joe’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
