Elie Ifergan

Peacefully, in his ninety-eighth year, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Devoted husband of the late Annette (Elhadad). Loving father and father-in-law of Daniel and Laura, Sammy, Yoav, and Natalie and Harry Marciano. Proud Papi of Ariel, Danna, Jordana, Amanda, Oren, and Noam. Dear brother of Joseph Ifergan. Predeceased by nine other siblings and their spouses. Elie will be greatly missed by his family and friends in Montreal, Israel and France. The family is forever grateful to Dr. Palumbo for her professionalism, dedication, and compassion. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Verdun General Hospital for their exceptional care. They would also like to thank the caring staff at Château B'Nai Brith.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, August 22 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Beth Yitzchok Section, de la Savane. Shiva at 5603 Castlewood (Côte Saint-Luc) Friday following burial until 3:00 p.m., Sunday through Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Services at 7:00 p.m. daily. Donations in Elie’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.

Paisiblement, à l’âge de quatre vingt sept, entouré de sa famille, le mercredi 20 août 2025 est décédé M.Elie Ifergan. Époux dévoué de feu Annette (Elhadad). Père et beau-père aimant de Daniel et Laura, Sammy, Yoav, Natalie et Harry Marciano. Fier grand-père d'Ariel, Danna, Jordana, Amanda, Oren et Noam. Cher frère de Joseph Ifergan. Précédé dans la mort par neuf autres frères et sœurs et leurs conjoints. Elie manquera énormément à sa famille et à ses amis à Montréal, en Israël et en France. La famille est éternellement reconnaissante au Dr Palumbo pour son professionnalisme, son dévouement et sa compassion. Nous remercions tout particulièrement les médecins, les infirmières et le personnel de l'Hôpital général de Verdun pour leurs soins exceptionnels. Nous souhaitons également remercier le personnel attentionné du Château B'Nai Brith.

Le service funéraire aura lieu le vendredi 22 août à midi chez: Paperman et fils, 3888, rue Jean-Talon Ouest. L'inhumation aura lieu au cimetière de la congrégation Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem, section Beth Yitzchok, situé à 5015 rue de la Savane. La Shiva se tiendra au 5603 Castlewood (Côte Saint-Luc) le vendredi suite à l'inhumation jusqu'à 15h, du dimanche au mercredi de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. Les prières seront à 19h quotidiennement. Des dons en mémoire d'Elie peuvent être faits à l'organisme de bienfaisance de votre choix.
