Leatrice Tepper (née Spears)

With heavy hearts, the family  of Leatrice Spears Tepper announces her peaceful passing on Tuesday, August 19th, just one week shy of her ninety fourth-birthday. Beloved and devoted wife of the late Conrad “Cuppy” Tepper for 58 years. Cherished mother of Cheryl and Richie Feiden, Nanci Tepper and Evens Baptiste, the late Sheldon Tepper. Adored “Nana” of Lauren Feiden and fiancé Paul Shapiro, Jenn Feiden and Jon Sheeri, Brandon Feiden and Meagan Reinish. Loving great-grandmother of Grayson, Lennox, Harlow, and Sawyer.Treasured sister and sister-in-law of Roslyn Wiener and Sam Hops, the late Joy and the late Murray Backler and sister-in-law of Myrna and David Perlman, Nat and Sue Tepper.Leatrice was the devoted daughter of the late Tili and the late Ben Spears and the late Syra Long Spears and daughter-in-law of the late Betty and the late Harry Tepper.

Heartfelt thanks to her angels on 5 south at Maimonides, and the incredibly compassionate team of caregivers on K6 and palliative care at the Jewish General Hospital.

Funeral services from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W., on Thursday, August 21 at 12 Noon. Burial at the Hebrew Protective Association section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
