Hilma Katharina Ruth Socransky (Née Heinrich)

Peacefully, in her ninetieth year, on Friday, July 25, 2025. Devoted wife of the late David. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Dr. Steven James Socransky and Patricia Lee. Proud grandmother of Jacob Irvine David Socransky, and Liam Elliott Socransky. Loving aunt of Stewart and Marilyn, Edie, Jordan, Farah, and Rhonda. Predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Ella Heinrich, by her siblings and their spouses: Elza, Eva, Maria, Friedbert, and Alfred; and by David’s siblings and their spouses: Morty, and Anita. Hilma will be missed by her great-nieces and great-nephews, by her family, friends, and all those who knew her. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Pioneer Manor in Sudbury, Ontario, for their care and compassion.

Graveside service on Wednesday, July 30 at 10:00 a.m. at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva strictly private. Donations in Hilma’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
