It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Rapkowski on the afternoon of Friday, July 4, 2025. He was the son of the late Rubin and the late Haja Rapkowski. Childhood sweetheart and cherished husband of Sharon Rapkowski for fifty-six years. Devoted and caring father and father in-law of Darren and Stacey Rapkowski, and Richard and Hali Rapkowski. He was a proud Zaidy who loved and adored his grandchildren, Brody, Elle, Kai and Hudson Rapkowski. Dear brother and brother-in law of Shelley and Mark Markusoff, Barry and Amy Rapkowski, and brother-in-law of Sam and the late Nicki Mitnick. He was loved by his nieces and nephews, Marnie and Arnold Cohen, Aaron and Leah Mitnick, Howard and Catherine Mitnick-Rebellati, Jason and Erin Markusoff, Jeffrey and Leanne Markusoff, Adam and Yonit Rapkowski, Matthew Rapkowski and Elizabeth Williams, and their children. Jack will be dearly missed by his many cousins and lifelong friends, especially by his cousins and best friends Steve and Evelyn Waterman. He was a good man with a big heart, a wonderful husband and a devoted father and Zaidy, and will be profoundly missed. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, July 7 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Beth Ora Congregation Sectio, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at his son Darren’s home.
