In Loving Memory of Jacob Attias
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jacob, who left this world peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 30, 2025, at the age of 85.
Jacob was the devoted husband of his cherished wife, Therese, with whom he shared over 60 years of love, partnership, and commitment. Together they built a beautiful family and created a legacy rooted in kindness, generosity, and family values.
Born to Avraham and Soulika, and brother to Jojo (z”l), Eli, Haim, Jaqueline, Bebert and Miriam. Jacob was a true pillar of the community who gave selflessly of his time and heart, performing countless acts of goodness—both great and small—that left lasting impressions on all who knew him. His presence was a source of comfort, his wisdom a guiding light, and his example a model of dignity and integrity.
Jacob’s greatest pride and joy was his family. Beloved husband of Therese. Cherished father of Etty (Gerard), Charles (Esther), and Iris. Loving grandfather to Jamie (Gabriel), Amanda (Isaac), Erika (Adam), Sarah (Dov), Rebecca (Jonathan), Olivia, Samantha, Ali, Jonathan and Jessy. Adored great-grandfather to Elsie, Romee, Luca Aaron, Mila, Emma, Kaia, Asher, Shai, and Cameron Jacob, each of whom brought him immense pride and joy. His deep love for his family will forever live on in their hearts.
Jacob will be remembered as the patriarch of our family—a man of strong values, endless generosity, and profound devotion to those he loved. His loss leaves an irreplaceable void, but his memory will continue to inspire us in the way we live, love, and give to others.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to the Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital, Aux trois sentiers and Refuah V’Chesed for their extraordinary care, compassion, and support during this time. A special thanks to Dr. Chang and Dr. Zigby.

May his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
