Renée Romano (née Alkallay)

Peacefully, in her one hundred and second year on Sunday December 20, 2025. Devoted mother  and mother-in-law of Etty and Joseph Fachler, the late Barry Romano. Cherished “ Savta” of Tanya and Philip Folsom, Leslie Fachler. Proud great grandmother of Makai Folsom. Sister of the late Isaac Alkallay.  Special thanks to the exceptional staff of 4th floor Hope Pavilion, Jewish Eldercare. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons 3888 Jean Talon W on Tuesday December 23 at 10 am.  Burial at the Beit Abraham Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva strictly private.
