Alice Klein (née Evelson)

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Alice Klein on September 21, 2026, at Mississauga, Ontario at the age 88.  She was the beloved wife of Colman for 68 years. Mother of Robert (Jo) and the late Lisa (Chidi). Grandmother of Jasmine, Annabelle & Shea.  Sister and sister-in-law of Susan and Irwin Frank, and Mona and Sandor Klein.

 Alice was born in Montreal and was a long-time teacher for the PSBGM and the Miriam Home, where she devised and led programs for children with special needs, with cerebral palsy and for adults outside the regular system.

 Alice was a loving and devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law,  grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and friend.  She will always be remembered for her incredible empathy for others, her sense of humour and as a role model with a steely resolve.

 Funeral service took place on Thursday, September 24 at The Simple Alternative in Mississauga.
