Dr. Rita Bogoroch

Passed away at the age of 100 in Toronto.

Beloved daughter of the late Fanny and Mitchell. Much loved sister of Joe and Anne. Devoted and adoring aunt of Maureen Bogoroch Ditkofsky and Jack Ditkofsky Richard and Melanie Bogoroch and Janice and Murray Tkatch, and the late Fran and Jack Katari. Cherished and greatly respected great aunt of Noah and Laura, Ari and Jenna, Mark and Lindsay, Jj and Adeena, Adam and Jaimie, Samantha, Matthew and Sophie, Jonathan and Cara, Robbie and Brooke, Ryan and Jodi, Melissa and Brian, Brian and Karen.

Born in Montreal. Rita had a rich and accomplished career as an educator, a researcher and as a toxicologist. She received both her bachelor and masters of science from McGill University and her PHD in histology and embryology from the University of Ottawa. She was a lecturer at McGill University at the University of California Medical School and at Harvard Medical and Dental Schools. She received many awards and her work was published in 27 journals. She led a full and meaningful life. She was loved by many and she will be greatly missed by her many friends and relatives.
