Peacefully at home, in his eighty second year on Saturday, August 22, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Treasured husband of Trudy Cusmariu and the late Joy Regenstrief. Proud father and father-in-law of Robert Ain and Gina Saveriano, Andrew Ain and Stacie Weber. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Fay Ain. Aaron had a special place in his heart for his stepchildren John Cusmariu and Stephanie Grosvenor, Julie Cusmariu and Ari Cohen. His amazing legacy will be continued by his beloved grandchildren Julia, Joseph, Jackson and Michael; Jude, Kerri and Samson. Dear brother and brother in-law of Steve and the late Rosanne Ain, Susan and David Werner; and brother-in-law of Bunny and the late Shelly Goldberg, Myrna Sanders, the late Sharon and the late Eric Braunstein. Aaron will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, his extended family and many dear friends for his generosity, love of travel, art, food, learning and especially his love for his family. Heartfelt gratitude to his wonderful caregiving team who went above and beyond.
Funeral services from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon Street West on Monday, August 24 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 ch de la foret, Outremont.
