Aaron Spector

January 26, 1934 – June 9, 2024

It is with great sorrow that the family of Aaron Spector announces his passing on Sunday, June 9, 2024, after a lengthy and valiantly fought illness. Beloved and cherished husband of Esther Zinman. Precious father and father-in-law of Ian Spector, Joanie Spector and David Stein, Dr. Gary Spector and Marcia Ghitnick. Exceptional and loving Zaidie of Zachary Stein and fiancé Alexandra Masella, Cassandra Stein, Eric Spector, and Ben Spector. Devoted son of the late Alex and the late Yetta Spector.  Special and adored brother and brother-in-law of Reuben and Shirley Spector; and brother-in-law of Dr. Norman and Naomi Zinman of Toronto, Ceil and the late Ron Chorlton. Dear uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Special cousin to Nadia and the late Lev Bulkovshteyn and their family, all of Boston. Special thanks to Aaron’s wonderful caregivers, Colleen and Josie, for their care, kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, June 11 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Montreal Workers’ Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva Tuesday following burial until 4:00 p.m. Due to the festival of Shavuot, shiva ends Tuesday afternoon.
