It is with deep sorrow and great love that we mourn the passing of Al Feldman, a devoted and loving husband and best friend to the late Lee Borek Feldman for seventy years. Loving and dear father and father-in-law of Glen and Kim Feldman, Deborah and Steven Salpeter, and Scott Feldman. Cherished and adored Zaidie of Blake and Shelby Feldman; Noah, Jamie (Farnsworth), Michael, Denise (Tsarouhas) and Rebecca Salpeter. Great-grandfather of Lily Salpeter. Treasured uncle of Jeff and Arlene Feldman. Predeceased by his parents, Moe and Sarah Feldman, and by his cherished siblings and their spouses: Max and Lynn Feldman, Lee and Joe Kalina; and by his brother and sister-in-laws: Moishe Borek, Evelyn Borek, Mollie and Sasha Friedenstein, Bernie Borek. Brother-in-law of Freda Borek.

Al had a crazy sense of humour that could be counted on to brighten, shock and surprise. He smiled with his eyes, and his laugh was infectious. He was a passionate sports fan who loved watching and cheering for his teams. He enjoyed watching a good wrestling match or a comedy show with his grandsons. Al will be remembered for his warm personality, his love for mischief, great storytelling, and crossword puzzles. He was proudly dedicated to his family, and had tremendous love for his grandchildren. Though Al faced many challenges in the past few years, he found the strength, courage, and dignity to overcome them.

Heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Al’s caregivers, Sofie, Karine, April and Amie for their attentive care. Special thanks to the BUC, Nova Day Center, St. Anne’s Veterans Hospital, Nova Palliative Care, the palliative staff at the CLSC and the caring staff at Teresa-Dellar Palliative Center for their exceptional care and compassion.
