Entouré de sa famille aimante, le mercredi 4 mars 2026, à l'âge de quatre-vingt-huit ans. Armand Mastey a mené une vie marquée par l'amour pour sa famille, par la fierté envers ses petits-enfants et par son attachement aux traditions, coutumes et croyances de son héritage juif marocain. Époux dévoué de sa femme adorée Nelly Mastey, née Mamane, pendant soixante-et-une belles années. Père et beau-père bien-aimé de Patrick Mastey et Erika Finkelstein, Vera Mastey et Jonathan Harris, ainsi que Laurent Mastey et Marcie Gandell. Papi chéri de Matthew Harris, Olivier Mastey, Remy Mastey, Aidan Harris, Juliette Mastey, Alex Mastey et Sacha Harris. Frère de Max Mastey, Raphael Mastey, Isaac Benmoha z”l, Denise Teper z”l, Suzanne Bensoussan z”l, Rachel Amir z”l et Aimée (Ahouva) Mastey z”l, et beau-frère de Nombreux. Armand manquera profondément à sa famille élargie, à ses nièces, neveux, cousins, amis et à tous ceux qui ont eu le privilège de le connaître. La famille tient à exprimer sa gratitude au personnel de l'unité de soins intensifs cardiovasculaires de l'Hôpital général juif pour ses soins et sa compassion.
Les funérailles auront lieu chez Paperman & Sons, 3888, rue Jean-Talon Ouest, le jeudi 5 mars à 12 h. L'inhumation aura lieu au cimetière de la Fondation communautaire Baron de Hirsch, de la Savane. Surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at the age of eighty-eight. Armand Mastey lived a life defined by love of family, pride in his grandchildren, and dedication to the traditions, customs and beliefs of his Moroccan Jewish heritage. Devoted husband of his adored wife Nelly Mastey née Mamane for sixty-one beautiful years. Beloved father and father-in-law of Patrick Mastey and Erika Finkelstein, Vera Mastey and Jonathan Harris, and Laurent Mastey and Marcie Gandell. Cherished Papi of Matthew Harris, Olivier Mastey, Remy Mastey, Aidan Harris, Juliette Mastey, Alex Mastey, and Sacha Harris. Treasured brother of Max Mastey, Raphael Mastey, Isaac Benmoha z”l, Denise Teper z”l, Suzanne Bensoussan z”l, Rachel Amir z”l, and Aimée (Ahouva) Mastey z”l, and dear brother-in-law to many. Armand will be missed deeply by his extended family, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and all who had the privilege to know him. The family wishes to express gratitude to the staff of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital for their care and compassion.
Funeral service will take place at Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, March 5 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Community Foundation Cemetery, de la Savane.
