Peacefully, on Friday, July 10, 2026, with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Marvin. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Shari Blanshay, and Michael and Jennifer Silver. Proud and adored Grandma of Andrew and Jess, and Erin. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Barry and Betty Besner of Florida, and Arlene and the late Bram Besner. Loving daughter of the late Harry and the late Ethel Besner. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and all who knew her.
She will be remembered for her elegance, her courage, her willingness to learn, and the love she so freely shared with all.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Mona, her companion, Marieta, Jeanette, and the staff at Maimonides for their care and compassion.
