Beverly Shapiro (née Moss)

Peacefully, after several years dealing with a heart condition, on Monday, March 16, 2026. Extraordinarily devoted wife of Ernest (Ernie) Shapiro for nearly seventy years. Adoring mother and mother-in-law of Murray and Ella, Lorne and Ruthie, Debra and Irwin. Proud grandmother of Josh and Lexi, Talia and Michael, Andrew; Samantha; Ben, Jacob, and Isabel. Elated recent great-grandmother of her precious great-grandson. Cherished sister of the late Eleanor (Ellie) Moss Werbin. Dear sister-in-law of the late Estelle (Essie) and the late Julius Weiss. Daughter of the late Irwin and Lillian Moss. Beverly will be missed by her cousins, her close friend and relative Judy (and the late Irwin), her Werbin and Weiss nephews, family, friends, and all those who knew and loved her. Special thanks to her incredible caregivers, Florence, Day, Lanie, and more recently, Noemie and Katty, for their devotion. Much gratitude to Sandra, Papia, Rafsina, and the outstanding staff at Place Kensington for their compassionate care. Deep appreciation to Dr. Robert Iny, Dr. Alex Orr, and the entire team at the Kalin Santé Kildare Clinic.
