It is with profound sadness that Bracha’s family announces her passing on Yom Kippur, Wednesday, October 1, 2025 , surrounded by her loved ones. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Haya Chetrit Ben-Menashe, Zvi and Liz Gellis. Cherished “Savta” of Josh and Leeat, Michael; and Jennifer. Proud great-grandmother of Lior and Tamar. Predeceased by her siblings, Efraim, Yaacov, Shimon, Rachel, Mina and their spouses.
Bracha will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family in Israel and the US, and by all her friends.
The family would like to thank Drs. Gabriela Ghitulescu and Jonathan Hudon and the team on K8 Jewish General Hospital for their care, dedication, compassion and hard work.
Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Sunday October 5 at 1:00 pm. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane.
