Bram Rubinger

It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of Bram Rubinger shares the sad news of his passing on Thursday, September 3, 2026 just days after celebrating his 91st birthday.  Beloved father and father-in-law of Eada Rubinger and Pierre Grenier, Deborah Rubinger, and Jessica Rubinger. Adoring and proud ‘Grandpapa Bram’ of Elliot and Clara Grenier. His eyes shone with boundless affection when he was with them. Bram is survived by his former wife Bryna Rosman Rubinger to whom he was married for 43 years. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Rose Rubinger.  Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Garson and the late Frankie, the late Mort and the late Cathy. Treasured uncle of Karen (Kenn), Lori (Barry), John (Daniela), Rob (Irina) and Zandra (Mike). 

Bram will be greatly missed by his circle of devoted friends whom he loved deeply. He will be fondly remembered for his sweet kindness, spicy retorts, sartorial standards and creative drive. He was a happy person who lived his life with energy and verve. 

 A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Donald Berman Jewish Eldercare K3 whose affection for Bram was abundant, and to the indomitable Laila who supported both him and his daughters greatly.

 Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Dorshei Emet Reconstructionist Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
