Shiva will be observed following the funeral at her daughter's home at 4381 St-Ambroise Street Friday until 3:00 p.m. Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

After a courageous and valiant fight, Carol succumbed to her illness on Remembrance Day, November 11th, 2025. Surrounded by her loving family and her devoted caregiver, Ms. Josie Benjamin, whose care and compassion brought comfort throughout her illness. Cherished wife of Joseph (Joe) Werner for over 40 wonderful years. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Stacey and Adam, and proud grandmother of Zoe (her little doll). Dearest sister of the late Harvey Z"L, and daughter of the late Isaac (Rusty) and the late Ann Schiffer Z"L. Sister-in-law of Miriam and Michael Leber and family. Heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Jason Agulnik and Ms. Tara Jesion for their care and support.

Carol will be remembered for her warmth, her dedication to her family, and the joy she brought into the lives of everyone who knew her.

Funeral services from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Friday, November 14th at 11 a.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
