Peacefully, on Sunday, June 29, 2025. Devoted daughter of the late Adele and the late Henry Blatt. Proud mother and mother-in-law of Mitchell Rothstein and Marc Rouleau, Shelley Rothstein and Erle Schneidman, Russell Rothstein and Sheryl Waxman. Adored Bubbie (BC) of Jason and Nazanin, Robbie and Nicole, Harry, Jill and Jonny, Joseph and Dianna, Rachel, Benjamin, and Noah. Treasured Great-Bubbie of Sloane Remi. Loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Harvey Blatt, Rickey and Julie Blatt, Suzan Blatt and Allan Shustack. Cherished Auntie Connie to her many nieces and nephews.
Connie lived a truly rich and inspiring life. She was endlessly curious and deeply adventurous - always eager to explore the world, embrace new ideas, and continue learning, even taking university courses well into her 80s. Her generous spirit shone through in the time she devoted as a volunteer and traveler, touching countless lives along the way.
What stood out most about Connie, was her sharp mind, her quiet courage, and the boundless enthusiasm she brought into every space she entered. Connie faced challenges throughout her life, but she never let them define her; she defined herself on her own terms, always.
To know her was to admire her authenticity, honesty, open heart, intelligence, and that one-of-a-kind personality. She stayed true to her values and carried a wonderful sense of humor that made her even more unforgettable.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, July 2 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Adath Jeshurun Congregation Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, rue Berri.
Donations in her memory may be made to McGill Community for Lifelong Learning (MCLL) https://www.mcgill.ca/mcll/give-mcll or to a charity of your choice.
