Donna Yampolsky (née Henneman)

Peacefully, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at the age of eighty-eight. Devoted wife of the late Israel (Mutch) for sixty-one years. 

Loving mother and mother-in-law of Michie and the late Gerry Yampolsky, Marcia Yampolsky and Dr. Matthew Burnstein, and Andrea Yampolsky and Alan Marshall.  Proud and cherished Nanny of Yoni, Moria and Yosef, Talia and David, Eitan and Yehudit, Maxwell, Beth and Joe, Jessica, and Harry. Adored great-grandmother of Rei, Alma, Yuval, Maoz, Aviad, Yochai, and Yaer. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Barbara and Alan Zavalkoff, the late Ruth Gerard; and Sam and Elaine Yampolsky. Pre-deceased by Brenda and Marvin Panofsky, Frank and Molye Yampolsky, Abraham and Betty Yampolsky, and Lazar Yampolsky.

She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Thursday, April 30 at 1:00 p.m.. Burial at the House of Israel Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at Andrea's home until Tuesday evening. Shiva at Marcia’s home, 212 Moore Ave, Toronto, M4T 1V8 Sunday, May 3 from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m., Monday and Tuesday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
