Eleanor Wiseblatt (née Rosenbloom)

Peacefully on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in her ninety-first year.  Daughter of the late Solomon and the late Ida Rosenbloom.  Beloved wife of the late Jerry Wiseblatt.  Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Jeffrey, Brian and Rhonda, Rhea Sue, and Rosemary. Proud Bubbie of Alyssa and Matthew. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Evelyn and Andrew Szirt, Goldie and the late Gordon Rosenbloom; and sister-in-law of the late Ruth and the late David Joffre. Dearest aunt of Michael and Leslie Szirt, Randee and Mark Grossman, Caroline and Daniel Piché, Allan and Andrea Rosenbloom, Beverlee and Mitchell Simcoe, and their families. Eleanor will be deeply missed by her family.  Special thanks to her caregiver Suzette, and the staff at the Jewish Eldercare Hope and Kastner for their care and devotion.

Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Thursday, May 14 at 1:00 p.m.  Burial at Young Israel of Chomedey Congregation section, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Duvernay.
