Elsa Wendman

After a long debilitating illness, with her family by her side, on August 9, 2025 in Hollywood, Florida at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Morton Wendman. Loving mother of Murray (Karen) Wendman, and Susan Carvalho. Dear sister of Frances (Nelson) Yagod and Michael (Laya) Abramowitz. Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Rebecca, Michelle and Joseph. Predeceased by her parents Louis and Rose Abramowitz. Elsa grew up in Ottawa, Canada and moved to Montreal to study Nursing at the Jewish General Hospital. She was very highly thought of in her chosen field of nursing as well as volunteering for many community organizations and charities.
