Peacefully, surrounded by family on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at the age of eighty-two, after a courageous battle bravely fought. Devoted husband of the late Jo Ann for forty-four years. Loving father and father-in-law of Kimberly Goldapple and Brent Finnamore, and Jessica Goldapple and Brian Carmody. Cherished and fun Zaidy of Cooper, and Sloan. Adored partner and best friend of Francine Granner. Eric will be dearly missed by Jonathan and Dana, David and Alicia and by all who knew and loved him. Special thanks to Dr. Sara Ahronheim, Dr. Suzanne Levitz, his gentle caregiver Idowu, and to the staff at the Pulmonary Rehab Unit at Mount Sinai Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
