Fani Klugerman

Peacefully, on Saturday, June 22, 2024, in her seventy-fifth year. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Hayley Egett and Adam Wahhab, Jonathan Egett, and Darren Egett and Gabriela Szulzinger. Proud Bubbie of Zachary; and Avery. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Abbey and Rita Klugerman. Fani will be missed by Kati Egett, and by her nieces, nephews, family, and all those who knew her. Special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff from the Vista Residence, and from the K8 Pavillion of the Jewish General Hospital for their care and compassion.

Fani was a proud educator. She taught English to third grade students at the E.M.S.B. for over thirty years, and continued in her retirement with her grandchildren; her true pride and joy. Fani cared deeply for her students, and will be remembered for her ‘teacher voice’ that echoed through any classroom she taught. 

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Tuesday, June 25 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Adath Jeshurun Congregation Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Berri St. Shiva at 6785 Crois.
