Frank Tauber

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, who passed away on August 13th at the age of seventy-four, after a long and courageous battle. He passed in his favourite place, surrounded by the lake and the nature he loved, on a beautiful summer day. Beloved husband of forty-three years of Vicky Tauber (née Lipchenko). Proud father and father-in-law of Lindsay and Mike Scudder, Jamie, Alyx and Sydney. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Lynn and Howard Wolfe; and brother-in-law of Vlad Lipchenko. Cherished son of the late Syrille and the late Kenneth Tauber; son-in-law of Bella and the late Rudolf Lipchenko. Much-loved uncle and great-uncle to his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Frank loved being in the country, and some of his happiest moments were spent there, out on the lake and enjoying the boats he loved so much. Above all, he loved his family and his friends, and treasured the time spent with the people who meant the most to him. It feels fitting that his final moments were spent in the place he loved so much, with the lake nearby and the country around him.

Frank will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, August 16 at 3:00 p.m. A private burial to follow. Shiva Sunday from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at 5500 MacDonald (#1705).
