It is with heavy hearts that the family of Hanna Toledano announces her peaceful passing on Thursday, May 14th, 2026. Devoted wife of 56 years to Aharon Toledano, wonderful mother to Moshe & Jodi and Oren & Karene and loving Safta to Leah, Sarah, Jayden and Ethan.
Hanna is also survived by her dear sister and brother-in-law, Mazal and Eli Sibony in Israel, and her brother-in-law David Toledano in Montreal. Predeceased by her parents Esther and Joseph Dadoun, her grandmother Saada, and her late beloved sister Dorith. Hanna will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and her many dear longtime friends in Canada, the US and Israel who all became like family to her.
Hanna was a woman who put family above everything. Vibrant. Charmante. A true Eshet Chayil, a woman of valour who was loved dearly by everyone that knew her.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, May 17 at 11:00 am. Burial at Haboneh Hahofshi Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, DDO. Shiva at her home. Donations in her memory can be made to the Israel Emergency Fund c/o Federation CJA, 514-345-2645 ext. 2600.
