Courageously, and with his keen sense of humour on Thursday, December 4, 2025, after having spent precious time with his family, friends and colleagues. Beloved husband of Phyllis Veinish for fifty-eight wonderful years. Loving father and father-in-law of Lisa Levy, Riana Levy and Dr. Lorne Scharf. Proud Zaida of Marlo, Star, and Waverly. Son of the late Robert and the late Helen Levy; and son-in-law of the late Sydney and the late Alice Veinish. Devoted brother and brother-in-law of Irwin Levy and Silvia Bortoluzzi, Stephen Levy and Lisa Cohen, Lorraine (Lorry) Levy and Dr. David Silver; and brother-in-law of Nancy and the late Stephen Favor, and the late Eric Veinish. His nieces, nephews, cousins, The Plantation Store Family, and his Frenchie dog Shayna will miss him deeply.
The family would like to acknowledge with sincere gratitude the doctors, nurses and staff of K9 at the Jewish General Hospital for their compassionate care.
