Helene Daniel (née Shahrabani)

Peacefully on Saturday November 22, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Abraham. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Frank and Rebecca, Emile and Mary, Alfred and Susan. Loving “Nana” of Caroline, Melissa and Michael Assaraf. Proud great-grandmother of Abby, Zachary, Jacob, Charlie, Katie, Max, and Leo. Predeceased by her siblings Abdullah, Najiba, Naim, and Violet. Helene will be sadly missed by her  nieces, nephews, extended family, very close friends, and all those whose lives she touched. 

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Monday, November 24 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Spanish & Portuguese Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt. Shiva at the Spanish & Portuguese Synagogue at 3:50 p.m., followed by Shiva through Thursday evening.
