Suddenly in his 78th year on Monday, October 12, 2026. Beloved husband and best friend for over fifty years of Barbara. Loving, devoted and generous with a huge heart father and father-in-law of Melissa and Phil Ifrah, Jonathan and Kari. Cherished “Papa Ernie” and Zaida of Zachary and Charlotte, Andie and Dale. Son of the late Nathan and the late Freda Stein. Loving brother and brother-in-law of Peggy and Simon Zrihen, Howard and Sandra. Special, unique and fun uncle of his nieces and nephews. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Thomas Kohn for his outstanding support and friendship. Irwin will be sadly missed by his friends, family and all of those whose lives he touched.
