Jeanette Wiseman (née Hans)

Peacefully, on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, in her 106th year. Beloved wife of the late William. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Charles and Ma’nee Wiseman, Nancy Ormond and Dennis Ryan. Proud and loving “Gram” of Jamie Ormond and Evan Cohen, Brooke and Michael Calabrese; Samara Wiseman; and Great-Grandmother of Libby, Andrew, Kai, and Zora. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses Alan and Betty Hans, Sherman and Judi Hans, Diane Gillman, and Hazel Novick. Jeanette will also be missed by Denis’s children Jeff and Carolyn Ryan, and Carey and Scott Berry; and grand-children Garrett, Leo and Nicholas. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Fely, Veronique, Sandra and all of the wonderful staff at Place Kensington for their incredible care and devotion.

Funeral services from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. West, on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Farband Labour Zionist Section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane.
