Jerry Cooperman

Peacefully, on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the age of eighty-three. Beloved husband of the late Julie Cooperman (née Schneider) for twenty years. Loving father and father-in-law of Stephen Cooperman, Jill Cooperman Spear and David Spear; Kellie and Kevin Hunt. Cherished grandfather of Archie, and Tessa Spear; Rory, Jesse, and Cheyenne Hunt; and great-grandfather of Shiloh. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Peter and Karen Cooperman; the late Rhoda and the late Harold Hoffman, the late Darlene and the late Fabien Vais. Son of the late Singer and the late Esther Cooperman. 

Born and raised in Montreal, Jerry built a career in the garment industry, bringing with him a kind and genuine nature. Upbeat, personable, and outgoing, he had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes, always choosing to see the positive. He shared a deep love for his family, especially his grandchildren, taking a sincere interest in their lives, no matter the distance, and finding in them his greatest joy. Jerry will be missed by his extended family, friends, and all those who knew him.
